langkawi island

langkawi island is the most northern island of malaysia. there are many way can reach langkawi, i used to go by ferry from penang island(one of big city in north malaysia), it told 3 hours and not really comfortable.
i chose to go with my airasia this time, the ticket bought when promotion so it only cost rm60 go and back ( the cheapest liao) and this is the most comfort way to go langkawi(i think, only one hour in plane).
langkawi not big, noneed travel guide, can reach anyway with rental car(the command way). in my opinion, langkawi has only 3 interest 4 me, bird view, wine and chocolate. hehe..
langkawi also one of the duty free zon in malaysia, where the wine, beer, cigaratee, imported car.. can be found cheap here since malaysia goverment apply high tax on the particular items..
here can be heaven for malaysian who love the particular items, coz the price is lower more than 30% compare to every corner in malaysia..
besides that, i quite like the bird view in langkawi(from plane or cable car). the cable car is one of the place that i recommanded, it bring u to the hightest point in langkawi, u can enjoy cold weather, metal hanging bridge, and nice bird view.. u not only can c sea, u oso can c padi field and other small island surrounding langkawi, it make the view special..
other than that, i oso had been underwater world and burnt rice, highly adviced that u can go if u reallly got a lot free time..
the beach and the sea in langkawi is not so good compare to other island in malaysia, not a choice if u 1 2 enjoy beach and sea..
i'l go langkawi again...ofcourse by air and with a gang of friends and heavily drunk there..

king of budget air -- AIRASIA

Although Airasia is small, not provide food, with narrow seats, no beautiful airstress...i still can going on..

but..but it is the only airline i taken.. i travelled sabah(east malaysia), bangkok and manila by airasia. i like airasia slogan that NOW EVERYONE CAN FLY...as a student, flight can be said impossible to me by last time..only until appearance of airasia..airasia is the cheapest budget air i found(compare with tiger air, value air and jetset which are singapore based) before i forgot, airasia is based in malaysia..but unfortunely, airasia not satify me soon..it only fly around south east asia, the most far are macau, so i search some others budget air and would like to share with u guy..

HATYAI - Malaysian City in Thailand (June 2006)

Hatyai is the most southern city in thailand, almost 1 hour drive from Kayu Hitam, border of Malaysia. Most of the tourists here are Malaysian, 10 people in Hatyai, i can say that 8 are Malaysian. Every Thai here know Chinese, Hokkien (most speak language for Chinese in northern of Malaysia) & English.
i went there for 2day 1nite & stayed in Lee Garden Plaza Hotel, it is convinience place to stay. First day, i ate lunch buffet(฿120) in Lee Garden Plaza Hotel, the highest point in Hatyai, can see whole view of Hatyai. Then i have dinner at restaurant opposite of Lee Garden Plaza, the food there so so lah, but one food must mention is oyster, ฿30 got in big size. There are many food stall along the road infront of Lee Garden Plaza. When i ate supper beside road, i saw big and small elephant. Cant u imagine that huge elephant move on the road, this situation can see everywhere in Thailand. The baby elephant is so cute!!! Beside that, i saw many sex sellers along the road.
there are many stall along the road, sell clothes, servenior... everything got 2bargain, believe me that u can get 70% discount. The next day morning, i went to market by tuk tuk(a kind of transport in Hatyai). 1st the driver said ฿15 per person, finally we bargain till 8person total is ฿100. i bought dried longan(fruit),฿210 per kg, that is order from my great mum, i not yet try before but found it quite nice.
There are not much interest place in Haytai, nearly zero. But there are many programmes created to entertain Malaysian, Tiger show(woman show), Agua(man changed sex to woman) show & sex selling. I watched Tiger show (฿400) coz heard that the show here quite famous & i think quite a special experience. I din go for Agua show coz watched it in Pattaya, Thailand, the place that best looked Agua in Thailand.
Beside the show, i also go for massage. Thai massage is very famous, i had it in Lee Garden Plaza Hotel (฿240). The massager massage my leg, hand, back & head. The feeling of massage is quite nice.
